Governors of the six North-Central states are meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital for the Nigeria Police Regional Summit.
The high-level meeting is to consider measures and strategies to enhance effective community policing to address security issues in the region.

Others attending the summit are members of the National Assembly, royal fathers, security chiefs, and other critical stakeholders from the zone.
