APC Youths in Northeast Nigeria say, the rejection of Kashim Shettima as running mate to Bola Tinubu by former SGF Babachir David Lawal and former Speaker Yakubu Dogara as their personal decision.
The Youths described the uproar as mere Political interest that will be addressed by the party on negotiation table
The choice of Senator Kashim Shettima by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as APC’S Presidential running mate has continued to generate reactions from Nigerians.
The party’s youths in the Northeast have however endorsed Shettima whom they described as a worthy son of the Northeast

APC youth leader for the Northeast Jason Kwaghe said, the choice of Shettima as running mate is synonymous to victory for the party in 2023 Election
Another APC Youths stakeholder in the Northeast, Jamil Yusuf advised that the APC is after the Development of Nigeria and not interested in religious Politics.
