The Northern Elders Forum, NEF says it is convinced that Nigeria is facing a difficult time which requires the highest level of responsibility in dealing with the multiple problems facing the country.

Addressing a news conference in Zaria, the forum says giving the level of insecurity in the country, there is need to overhaul the security architecture.
The Forum says it condemns the killings in the country in the name of religion and urged Nigerians to unite and fight the common enemy.
The Forum says it recommends the adoption of a more vigorous and inclusive process or initiative that will improve public safety.
