Nigerians have been asked to support the military and other security agencies in their efforts to defeat bandits, insurgents and other criminal elements in the country.
Coalition of Northern Activists for Peace made the call during a solidarity walk aimed at drumming support for security agencies in the country.
The North of Nigeria has been in the spotlight for banditry, insurgency, kidnapping for ransom and other forms of criminality ravaging the region.
This solidarity walk by the Coalition of Northern Activists for Peace (CNAP) is in support of military and other security personnel who put their lives on the line to stop the bleeding in the north.
The coalition said the task ahead is tough and called for more intelligence sharing among the security agencies to enable them to effectively deal with the enemies of the country.
The activists also called for more support for the security agencies even as them challenged the youths to always promote issues that will ensure peace for sustainable development in the country.
