The Coalition of Northern Groups has stressed the need for all Nigerians to join hands with the government to fight terrorists and restore security and peace in the country.
The National Coordinator of the CNG, Aliyu Charanchi, made the call while donating assorted drugs to the Federal University’s clinic in Gusau, to replace the ones carted away by terrorists who invaded the university’s host community, Sabon Gida, where twenty-five female students and nine construction workers were abducted.
Suspected terrorists invaded the Sabon Gida community on Friday, September 22 and abducted twenty-five female students, a protocol officer, and nine construction workers from the Federal University in Gusau, as well as carted away all the drugs at the university’s clinic.
The National Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), Aliyu Charanchi, who led a delegation to donate the drugs, called on Nigerians to join hands with the government to tackle the insecurity bedeviling the country.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration of the Federal University, Professor Ahmad Galadima, lauded the efforts of the Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, for donating the drugs to the university, and thanked them for their continued support for the institution.
The group revealed that it had submitted the report of its findings to the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed, over which he had acted on by deploying the military to the university, to ensure the security and safety of the students and staff of the institution.
