Northern Youths of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have described the Founder of DAAR Communications Plc, and media magnate, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi as a detribalised person, that has the interest of all regions in the country at heart.
Well-wishers at a dinner organised in honour of the media magnate’s 70th birthday, want him to continue to be a good ambassador of the country.
Members of the party drawn from Kano, Katsina and Jigawa, converge on the ancient city to celebrate an icon, whom they described as industrious and detribalised, owing to his numerous contribution to the growth and development of the country, through job creation.
Well-wishers at the occasion also used the opportunity to pray for the celebrant, who is also their grand patron, and urge him never to relent in bringing progress to the country.

Though not physically present, a birthday cake was cut in honour of the celebrant.
