Rashidat Mohammed, a survivor of Gender based Violence though able to conquer the negative world around her and became the first female to own a law firm in Sokoto, it has remained impossible for her to forget her experiences.

Gender based Violence has become a societal challenge that leaves their survivors and victims in emotional and psychological trauma.
This is why these Traditional and Religious Leaders led by the Sultan of Sokoto His Eminence Saad Abubakar are championing the fight against what seems to have become a threat to the sanctity of human dignity.

The Traditional leaders say they are ready to take campaign against drug abuse and Gender Based Violence to the nooks and crannies of their domain.

The two day summit organised by the Sultan Foundation brought together traditional rulers, Religious Leaders and other key persons in the fight against Gender Based Violence to translate awareness to taking action against the menace in Nigeria.
