Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council and secretary to the government of the Federation Boss Mustapha says nothing will stop the formal handover of power on May 29, 2023, from President Muhammadu Buhari to the incoming administration of President-elect Bola Tinubu.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday on the latest activities of the 22-man Presidential transition council, Mustapha says regardless of the pending litigations in court over the outcome of the 2023 Presidential election, it will not stop the transfer of power to a new government.

He explained that the committee is doing everything within its power in collaboration with security agencies to ensure that the transition process is not truncated by anyone.
The SGF urged anyone aggrieved with the outcome of the elections to pursue the issues in court and avoid actions capable of causing the constitutional crisis in the country.
