Australian Open’s most successful player, Novak Djokovic has won a record-extending 10th Grand Slam at Melbourne Park after defeating his Greek opponent Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5) to equal Rafael Nadal’s all-time record for most singles Grand Slam Titles of 22
The Serbian returns to the world number one ranking with his latest victory and displaces youngster Carlos Alcaraz who missed out on the tournament due to an Abdominal injury.

The 35-year-old who only dropped one set throughout the tournament was hampered by a hamstring injury which almost caused him to withdraw from the first Grand Slam of the year.
Djokovic has now won his 28th consecutive Australian Open Games.
Meanwhile, Tsitsipas who is featuring in his first final in Melbourne once again lost to the Champion, as he failed to avenge his 2021 French Open loss, where Djokovic came from two sets down to win the Tournament.
