Going by the fixtures, defending champions Remo Stars will kick off their 2025/26 campaign with a clash against 2022 champions Rivers United, in what promises to be a thrilling curtain-raiser on August 22 in Ikenne.
Remo Stars won the 2024/25 NPFL title, claiming 71 points to win their first-ever NPFL title.
The opening weekend will be followed by 18 more weeks of tussle, leading up to the mid-season break from December 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026.
The mid-season transfer window will also be opened from January 1 to 30, as 20 clubs continue to fight for supremacy.
