NPFL: Lobi Stars Players On Strike Over Unpaid Salaries

LOBI STARS

Lobi Stars players have embarked on strike to protest the non-payment of their salaries.

The players, according to reports, have not received their salaries for the past two months.

As a result, they have resolved not to train or participate in any club activity untill their outstanding salaries are paid.

The Makurdi club have fallen off the title race in recent weeks after a number of poor results.

The Eugene Agagbe’s side currently occupy fifth position in the table with 52 points from 32 matches.

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, is currently on a one-month break.
