Niger Tornadoes Football Club have been handed a stern warning by the Nigeria Premier Football League over repeated cases of fan misconduct at their home ground in Minna.
The league management warned that any further breach could lead to the relocation of the club’s fixtures away from their traditional base.
Club Secretary, Jibrin Haruna, has appealed to supporters to exercise restraint and fully comply with NPFL directives, stressing that the team’s ability to finish the season without disruption now rests largely on fan behaviour.

Haruna insist supporters have always been the team’s backbone, but at this crucial stage, discipline and responsibility are key. He further warned the team must not risk losing its home advantage due to avoidable actions.
The Club Secretary also emphasised strict adherence to matchday rules, including respecting restricted areas, avoiding intimidation, and cooperating with security officials.
He warned that continued misconduct could attract severe sanctions, including a ban on playing in Minna, but expressed confidence that fans will heed the call and support the team peacefully as the season reaches its climax.
