Bayelsa United’s search for a home victory continues to be elusive as the Prosperity Boys were held to a one-all draw by Ikorodu City of Lagos in a Nigeria Premier Football League week-seven encounter in Yenagoa.
The home side began brightly and took the lead twenty-five minutes into the first half through a brilliant finish from Emo James.

Despite dominating play and creating several chances, Bayelsa United failed to extend their advantage, leaving the visitors with hope.
Their persistence paid off in the eighty-fourth minute when Onwe Kelechi converted from a rebound off his own penalty to draw level for Ikorodu City.
Up next for Bayelsa United is a short trip to Port Harcourt, where they will face Rivers United Football Club.
