He also promised that the houses under renovation will be completed within next week, and be handed over to the victims.

The Branch Chairman also added that the intervention could not come earlier, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 that ravaged the world.

Two among the victims, 45-year-old Salamatu Sani and 60-year-old Audu Ya’u were full of gratitude on behalf of other beneficiaries, as they promised not to sell the items, but to use them for the purpose they are meant for.

Items distributed include 100 bags of rice, millets, maize and beans, all in twelve-kilogram bags, 100 gallons of palm oil, palm kernel and vegetable oil in 4-litre kegs.
