NSCDC arrests six suspected bandits in Kogi

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kogi State Command has arrested six suspected bandits from Kastina and Niger States terrorizing the Kabba -axis and other locations in Kogi State.

Kogi State Commandant of the NSCDC, Suleiman Mafara who paraded the suspects at the state command headquarters in Lokoja said, the suspects will be arranged in court upon completion of their investigation.

Kogi State commandant of the Nigeria Security and civil defense Corp, Suleiman Mafara while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Lokoja told journalists that the arrest was made possible through the efforts of local hunters.

Mafara hinted that investigation so far shows that the suspects have carried out some kidnapping operations in recent times.

The NSCDC boss further told journalists that the other suspect, Oluwasola Michael has been on its watch list till the day luck ran out of him.

Items recovered from these suspects include a half bag of bene-seed, two plasma televisions, a bag containing cloths and other valuables, water pumping machine, rolls of charm and other dangerous weapons with which they allegedly use to carry out their operations.
