NSCDC arrests three suspects for cattle rustling and suspected bandits’ informant

The 30-year-old suspect, Haruna Musa, who is a Nigerien, was caught by the residents of Bula in Dutsen Tsafe Village, where he came to steal a camel, belonging to one of the residents.

Abdara further said nemesis caught up with him (Musa Haruna) while he was approaching Dankama, to proceed to Niger Republic to sell the camel.

The corps spokesman further said that it was during interrogation that the suspect named Ibrahim as his informant, who was to partake in sharing the proceed from the sale of the camel

He further stated that ,Ibrahim later turned himself in after he was called to do so by operatives of the command.

For the suspected 27-year-old Mustapha Abubakar, he was alleged to have committed offences ranging from, being bandits’ informants, terrorist and belonging to a gang of thieves, who have been terrorizing the residents of Katsina and Zamfara states, spanning 5 years and rustled an unspecified number of animals.

The 3 suspects, however, did not deny their involvement in the various crimes.
