The NUJ DAAR Leadership and entire members Mourn the death of one of DAAR Communications’ long-serving Staff, Jimmy Edoabasi Abaekong.
Jimmy left us on Friday, September 29, 2023 after a protracted illness.
According to Patrick Abulu NUJ DAAR Chairman, Jimmy was a Typist turned Programme Producer (Raypower & AIT) and later became a Reporter through hard work, dedication and further studies
He was attached to Government House Ebonyi and later Enugu State Government House, which was his last place of assignment.

Jimmy who is survived by his wife and children will be greatly missed for his amiable personality and humility.
May Jimmy’s gentle soul continue to rest in peace and may his family find strength to bear the irreparable loss.
