Number of discharged Covid-19 patients in Nigeria about to hit 1,000

A total of 124 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing total number of successfully treated cases to 902.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirms 242 new Coronavirus infections in 14 states. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 4,641 since the index case was recorded in February this year.

The new Coronavirus infections include 88 in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna, 9 in Ogun, 6 in Gombe, 4 in Adamawa, 3 in FCT and 1 each in Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno and Bauchi States.

Kaduna has become the 11th state in the country to have a total of over 100 confirmed Coronavirus cases with its 13 new infections taking its total to 111.

There are 7 new Coronavirus deaths across Nigeria with the nationwide death toll now 150.
