The incident of Saturday, 16th of November 2024 left the family of Wapmak Emmanuel in shock after his wife who was delivered of a baby just a week ago was kidnapped along with her 18 year old daughter.

The kidnappers were said to have forcefully gained access to the room while firing gunshots sporadically.

Wapmak Emmanuel however managed to escape from his house.

The kidnappers who initially demanded the sum of one hundred million naira later reduced it to a figure Mr. Wapmak could not disclose to AIT.
