The Palace of the Oba of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II played host to thousands of prominent sons and daughters of the land as well as other guests who came to celebrate with the revered monarch on his seventh Year anniversary on the throne which coincides with his 70th birthday.
Different groups and associates used the occasion to pay homage to the Benin traditional ruler over the double celebration as every available space at the Palace was filled to capacity with different dignitaries. It was display of the rich cultural heritage of the Benin Kingdom.

Palace chiefs and other eminent personalities paid homage to the celebrant inside his Palace as he stepped outside to receive accolades from more dignitaries even as guests applauded the leadership dexterity of their king.
The clamour for the celebration of the 7th coronation anniversary of Oba Ewuare II will linger in the hearts of many for a long time.
