The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II felicitates Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration also known as the feast of sacrifice.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, noted that the Benin Monarch charged Muslims to reflect on the tenets of Islam in the Holy Qur’an in their act of worship.
Oba Ewuare II tasked the Muslim community in Nigeria not to forget the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir and asked them to pray to God to grant the country’s leadership good health, peace, wisdom and progress.
