Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo led a health awareness walk in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, to promote diabetes prevention and general wellbeing among Nigerians.
The walk, which kicked off from the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, saw the three-time Nigerian leader joining hundreds of participants, including health experts, fitness enthusiasts, youth cops and members of various organisations in the exercise.

The event was part of activities to mark the World Diabetes Day, which is observed on November 14 every year. The theme for this year’s edition is “Diabetes across life stages.”
