The Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo-Okon Abasi Otu has called for involvement of traditional rulers in the fight against corruption in Nigeria, saying fighting corruption should be from the grassroots.

The traditional ruler called for an open door system that would make everybody feel they belong to Nigeria, noting that fighting corruption starts from home as parents have to bring up their children with high moral value.

Earlier in his remarks, the Code of Conduct Bureau Commissioner in charge of Monitoring, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, said the team was in the Palace to seek for support of the traditional rulers in the fight against corruption.
