Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade has promised to provide host communities of the Obudu Ranch Resort in Obanliku Local government with social housing.
Governor Ayade who expressed worry at the deplorable living conditions of the people during a tour of the local communities assured Community elders and youths of the Ranch at the Obudu Conference hall of his commitment to making life more comfortable for them.

Professor Ayade further stated that the suffering of the aborigin of the famous Obudu Ranch will soon end with the new Housing scheme.
Governor Ayade added that the Obudu Ranch resort will become the biggest attraction in the country when the international cargoe airport is completed, to support the tourism potential of the ranch and for export of potatoes and ornamental flowers.
Some of the host Community members who spoke with ait.live said if the good intentions of Governor Ayade come to fruition, the fortunes of Obudu Ranch Resort will change.
