The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun State says it is ready for the by-election in the Ikenne, Remo North, and Sagamu federal constituency.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Feyi Sase, in an interview with journalists at the venue for the unveiling and pickup of sensitive election materials on Friday in Abeokuta, said all things are in place to successfully conduct the by-election to replace the late member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga.
Representatives of the media, political parties, security agencies, and other stakeholders joined INEC staff in checking the sensitive materials.
The Ogun State INEC Electoral Commissioner said all stakeholders would continue to be carried along in the preparation for the by-election, promising transparency in the entire process.

The representatives of the political parties present at the venue expressed satisfaction with the conduct.
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) on its part said sensitisation campaings have been done in the federal constituency to prepare the electorates for the by- election.
Saturday’s by- election is expected to commence at 8:30 am and end at 2:30 pm local time
The by- election is to replace the late member of the House of Representatives for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga.
