Over Forty-nine million Naira have so far been reportedly paid to families of deceased officers and men of the Ogun State Police Command who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Commissioner of Police in the State, Abiodun Alamutu who gave the cheques to the next of kins of the deceased policemen on Thursday at the Command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta said the Nigeria Police Force appreciates the supreme sacrifice the departed officers paid for peace to reign in the State.

Twenty one next of kins of the late Police officers received various sums in cheques from the Police authorities in Ogun state.
