Ohanaeze N’digbo seeks peaceful coexistence with people of Oyo state

The leadership of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo in Oyo state has called on the state Government and security agencies to nip in the bud what could degenerate into tribal clashes between the Igbos and other tribes in the state.

The Igbo social cultural Organisation’s premonition is coming on the heels of allegations of impersonation by some persons.

The Eze’Ndigbo Alex Anozie and his council made the appeal at a press conference held in Ibadan on the leadership crisis rocking the group.

The crisis rocking the Ohanaeze Ndi igbo in Oyo state took a new twist following allegations that some people are impersonating the socio cultural group aimed at causing breakdown of law and order.

A 2014 court judgment made available to AITOnline revealed that Hon Justice Mashud Abass of the Oyo state High court declared Dr Alex Anozie , and Ndidi Nzeako as leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oyo state while nullifying the claims of thev defendants Okwudilichukwu Obi and five others .

The leadership of the group has also called on Oyo state Governor, Olubadan of Ibadanland, and law enforcement agencies to step into the crisis.
