Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has called on the Federal Government to add Enugu state to the list of oil producing state’s in the country.
Governor Ugwuanyi made the call at the opening event of a sensitization programme on the review of the Revenue Allocation Formula holding at the State capital.
He observed that by every standard, Enugu State deserve the best in revenue allocation for equity and fair play.
Represented by the Deputy Governor, Cecilia Ezilo, the Governor is appealing to the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC to do justice to the people of the State.

Leader of the team, Chris Akomas, says the public sensitization programme became necessary to educate the people of the importance of the review of the existing revenue allocation formula which had been in operation since 1992.
He called for positive contributions from participants.
Sources indicate that the South East zonal public hearing on the proposed review of the existing revenue allocation formula in Nigeria is expected to take place in Owerri, the Imo State capital on the 14th of October, 2021.
