Governors of states in Nigeria’s South-South geopolitical zone under the auspices of the BRACED Commission have demanded that the Federal Government sets up a high powered commission of inquiry to unravel what transpired during the Okuama killings in order to avoid such occurrences in the future and also to properly define the mission of troops that are deployed to the region.
At a meeting of the Commission on Tuesday at Government House, Yenagoa, the Commission also lamented over the poor distribution of electricity in the region.
The Commission also highlighted the need to develop a better regional transportation system, calling on the Federal Government to expedite action on the completion of the East-West road.
