Heavyweight boxing champion, Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk and challenger, British boxer with Nigerian heritage, Anthony Joshua are heading into their highly anticipated bout on Saturday heavier than they were in their first encounter in London last September.
The champion Usyk weighs 100.5kg which is the heaviest of his career, while contender, Joshua is 110.9.kg, which is 1.8kg more than he was last year.
The pair had an intense face-off that lasted nearly two minutes with neither man being nervy as they shook hands at the end.
Boxing analysts have termed the rematch which has been dubbed the ‘Rage on the Red Sea,’ as the most important fight in the career of Joshua as it will make or mar the 35-Year-old fighter.
