Ondo 2020: PDP National Chairman assures faithful of transparent Primaries

The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus has assured of the party’s readiness to conduct free, fair and transparent primaries ahead of the Ondo State Governorship Election scheduled For October.

Secondus gave the assurance in Akure, Ondo State Capital on Monday at the official welcome ceremony of the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi into the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

The Chairman said the party is ready to reclaim Ondo state from the ruling All progressives Congress, hence the need to conduct a transparent.

Secondus also use the opportunity to charge the country’s Leadership to be more committed to revamping the nation’s economy and providing adequate security for citizens.

In his remark, The Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi said he’s coming to the PDP will add more value to the party, assuring that he is ready to adhere strictly to the constitution of the party.

The People’s Democratic Party also called for the immediate redeployment of the State Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami following last Saturday’s incidence where the Deputy Governor was not allowed to move some of his personal property out of the Government House.
