Ondo Amotekun Apprehends 24 Suspects, Rescues Kidnap Victim

The ondo state Security Network,Code named Amotekun has assured that it will continue to synergize with other sister Agencies to prevent cases of Farmers/Herders clash in the state.

Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye gave the assurance while parading twenty four suspects arrested for different crimes in different parts of the state.

These twenty four suspects were arrested from different hideouts for offences ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery and theft of public property by operatives of Amotekun corps in ondo state.

Commander of Amotekun corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye while briefing journalists said the operatives succeded in rescuing some Kidnap victims while two of the suspects were arrested in the process at Supare,Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state.

The Amotekun Commander further assured that law and order will continue to be maintained,while enforcing the anti-open grazing law to address incidences of Farmers Herders clashes.

The commander concluded that while
Exhibits and items recovered will be returned to their rightful owners,The suspects will soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.
