Ondo Amotekun Corps arrests 58 suspected criminals

Fifty eight suspected criminals believed to have been terrorizing Ondo State in the last few weeks have been arrested and paraded by operatives of Amotekun Corps in the state.

Commander of Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye said thirty two of them are suspected to be involved in kidnapping activities.

In the last few weeks, there has been an increase in reported cases of criminal activities in the state particularly kidnappings in Akure, the state capital and its surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, leaders of the Hausa communities in Ondo State have pledged readiness to collaborate with the Amotekun Corps to make the state peaceful.

The Amotekun commander assured security agencies in the state of the readiness of the corps to collaborate with other sister agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state.
