Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State have intercepted a bus loaded with 500 pieces of daggers concealed in bags filled with tiger nuts.
Other dangerous items intercepted include different and smaller seizes of knives and guns also concealed inside tigger nut bags.
Commander of Amotekun in the State, Adetunji Adeleye while parading the suspects on Friday, said two of the three buses which stormed the state escaped but efforts of his men and other security operatives led to the arrest of one of the buses in Ondo town.
Adeleye said the suspected bandits took off from Kastina State in three 18-Seater passenger buses before arriving in Ondo State on Thursday.

The Amotekun commander said the suspects would soon be arraigned in court after the conclusion of investigations.
The latest arrest of the suspected bandits according to reports is coming a few days after soldiers from the 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure withdrew from checkpoints and interstate boundaries across the state
