The Western Nigeria Security Network, codenamed Amotekun Corps, in Ondo State, has rescued five kidnap victims from various locations across the state in the past two weeks.
Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, made this known while parading seventeen suspects arrested for various criminal acts.
According to the Amotekun Commander, Adetunji Adeleye,these seventeen suspects were apprehended for crimes ranging from kidnapping, robbery, rape, and other acts of lawlessness.
The five kidnapped victims according to the commander were rescued without payment of ransom.
Adeleye also confirmed that three members of the kidnapped syndicate have been identified and are now in custody.
Some of the rescued victims, alongside a community leader from the affected area in Abo Ashakin,in Akure North local government praised the efforts of Amotekun for their swift intervention.

Commander Adeleye said all suspects will undergo further investigation and subsequently charged to court upon completion of all legal process.
