The Ondo State house of assembly has impeached its deputy speaker, Iroju Ogundeji.
Iroju, representing Odigbo constituency 2 was impeached, following the house resolution, led by the Speaker, Bamidele Oloyelogun. Iroju was impeached on the ground of alleged gross misconduct, which they say has brought disrepute to the hallowed chamber.

He was immediately replaced by Samuel Aderoboye, from Odigbo constituency 2.
