Voters have commended the independent national Electoral Commission, INEC for the smooth function of the Bimodal voter accreditation system in Saturday’s Re-run election in Akoko North East/North West Federal constituency election of Ondo state.
As early as 8am on Saturday, INEC ad-hoc staff and materials arrived at most polling units in the Two Local government of Akoko North East/North West of Ondo state.

ait.live observed improvement in voters turn out in Ikare Akoko, Oyin,Oke Agbe among other places monitored .
Security agencies were seen at strategic locations to forestall possible break down of law and order.
The electorate commended INEC for the improvement in function of the BVAS machine.
Some Election observers described the exercise as peaceful.
As at the time of filling in this reports, sorting and counting of votes have have been concluded.
