Ondo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure has fixed Wednesday June 4, 2025 for judgement on petitions challenging the outcome of the November 16, 2024 election.

The tribunal, led by Justice Benson Ogubu, set the date after the petitioners in the suit and respondents presented and adopted their final written addresses.

During the hearing this Saturday, the petitioners urged the tribunal to nullify the election results, citing what they termed massive irregularities during the polling.
