Ondo state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa said the government will soon build a rehabilitation centre to cater for people with mental disorders as a result of the abuse of drugs, which the government has blamed for majority of the mental health challenges in the state.
Aiyedatiwa stated this at a Mental Health Summit in Akure, the state capital.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Health, Banji Ajaka disclosed that the burden of drug abuse is on the rise and becoming a public health concern in Nigeria.

He said efforts are in place by the government to build a good rehabilitation centre to cater for people with substance use disorders and mental illness.
