The Ondo State House of Assembly has agreed to suspend the impeachment process of the state’s Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The decision was reached on Tuesday after the lawmakers met with the party’s Reconciliation Committee and the National Working Committee in Abuja.
The House had at the weekend insisted that the impeachment process was in progress, adding that it was put on hold to show sufficient understanding of the delicate situation of Chief Judge Olusegun Odusola.
