The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo State has called for a national dialogue as part of efforts to resolve various challenges currently facing the country, instead of engaging in the planned June 12 national protest scheduled for Saturday.
Chairman of the party in the state, Fatai Adams gave the advice while addressing newsmen in Akure on Thursday, where he also advised on the need for the Federal and State Governments to remain committed to addressing the plight of the citizens
The party used the press briefing to challenge the Ondo state Government on the proposed 2billion naira Governor’s lodge against the backdrop of the administration’s backlog of unpaid salaries to workers.

The PDP also frowned at the resignation of over 105 medical Doctors from the state public service over the inability of the state government to pay medical personnel their due salaries and hazard allowances.
The PDP in Ondo state further urged the APC led Federal Government to create the enabling environment that will provide employment for the youths rather than banning Twitter.
