Accreditation and voting by delegates for the Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primary election is underway.
Over 2, 000 delegates from the 18 local government areas of the state are participating in the PDP primary election.
The delegates had arrived the venue of the exercise as early as 9am on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Ondo State PDP Electoral Committee and Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, said the primary will be seamless.
Ugwuanyi said the committee will supervise and conduct a primary election that will ensure that an acceptable candidate emerges for the party to regain power from the ruling All Progressives Congress in the October 10, 2020 governorship election.

The Enugu Governor called on all aspirants and delegates to abide by the laid down rules and guidelines of the election.
