The Women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo state has demanded that violence before, during, and After the October 10 Governorship election in the state must not be perpetrated.
The women led by the wife of the PDP Governorship Candidate, Eno Jegede, and the state women leader Kemisola Adesanya are from the eighteen Local Government areas of the state, The women leader wants all stakeholders in the Election to ensure a free fair, and transparent election.

They believe that no life must be lost because of election, The women said people should be allow to freely decide who Governs them for another Four years.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had recently expressed concerns over possible violence, especially in River-rine areas of Ondo, and asked security agencies to flush out potential trouble makers.
