The acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has presented Three hundred and Eighty four billion, Five hundred and eighteen thousand Naira as the 2024 budget proposal to members of the State House m of Assembly.
Aiyedatiwa in presenting the Appropriation bill on Thursday said One hundred and seventy two billion Naira is for recurrent expenditure, while Two hundred and twelve billion Naira is for capital expenditure.
The acting Governor told the lawmakers that the objective of the budget estimate christened ‘Budget of Economy Resilience’, is to invest in human capital development, optimizing resource inflow and expand the fiscal space locally and globally, including developing agricultural value chain and the promotion and expansion of agricultural productivity to enhance food security.

Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji on behalf of other members of the state legislatures, assured the acting Governor of the speedy consideration and passage of the budget.
