Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has described entrepreneurship as the most powerful weapon to eradicate poverty and drive sustainable development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival in Akure, Governor Aiyedatiwa called for collective action to harness the power of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit for economic transformation.
The Governor said Entrepreneurship is the life-blood of innovation, the catalyst for economic growth, and the driving force behind social progress.

He emphasized the multidimensional objectives of the festival, including celebrating entrepreneurial achievements, fostering collaboration, inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs, and boosting local economy.
The governor’s Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship and Project Lead of the festival, Summy Smart Francis expressed gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for fostering an environment conducive to business growth and innovation across the state.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival will feature panel discussions, networking sessions, and exhibitions.
