Organized Labour in Ondo state has urged the state government to fulfill the agreements on the payment of Five months’ deductions for workers and payment of pensions.
Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ondo State chapter, Sunday Adeleye who led members of the Organised Labour to the signing of an agreement for payment of deduction to workers in the state said the Labour movement will not Compromise the welfare of the state workforce.
The agreement was reached on Tuesday after the workers’ Parliament empowered the Labour leaders to sign the agreement with the Government team led by the Head of Service, Dare Aragbaiye.
The workers urged the Government to always strife to avert industrial unrest in the state public service.

The labour leaders also resolved that salary of the staff of the University of Medical sciences teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH) should be paid, while a two-month subvention should be paid to settle June and July 2020 salaries of tertiary institutions workers.
