One person has been arrested in connection with the killing of six members of the one family in the Waasinmi area of Osun State.
The State Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode gave the update while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo.
The Police Commissioner said contrary to insinuations, there is no ethnic angle to the killings.
He said neighboring settlements in the area are still being combed by the police.

He maintained that the police would not relent until all persons behind the killings. are apprehended and prosecuted.
