Eyewitness account from Pupuple town in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State, North East Nigeria has reported that says at least twenty (20) persons have been kidnapped in the early hours of Tuesday.
Villagers say among the victims are a second class Chief identified as Umaru Nyala, his Police orderly, religious leaders, and a pregnant woman.
The victims were abducted by heavily armed gunmen who invaded the village at about 2.00am on Tueday, shooting sporadically in different directions.

The Taraba State Police Command says it is investigating to gain more facts on the incident, before it issues an official statement.
Pupuple village in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State, has lately been a black spot for kidnapping activities.
