Osun State Independent Electoral Commission says it will conduct local government elections on February 22, 2025.
Chairman of the Commission, Ashim Abioye who addressed Journalists in Osogbo said opposition political parties have promised to participate in the election.
He also disclosed the confirmation of Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC in the state and other stakeholders to partner with the Commission in ensuring success of the forthcoming election.

Abioye says the Commission will fulfill all legal and administrative obligations to ensure free, fair, credible and generally acceptable local government polls.
