It was pomp and pageantry at the Atta Royal Palace, Attah community in Imo State on Friday, as the Mother-General of Living Christ Mission Inc, Princess Samuel Divine-Gift Onyinyeomachukwu (MON) received the chieftaincy title of “Ada-Ugo Ndi Atta'”.
The Ancient Honour was bestowed on her in recognition for her philanthropic activities, climaxed in the building and donation of ultra-Modern toilets and borehole facilities to Ogada Community Primary School, alongside other charitable services to the community at large.
Speaking at the event, HRH Eze Geoffrey Anika; the traditional ruler, and Eze- Umunawuike II of Atta Ancient Kingdom said that Princess Samuel Divine Gift Onyinyeomachukwu has demonstrated that life is all about giving and ensuring the wellbeing of everyone within the community. He extolled her resilience and spirit of humanitarian services and enjoined all to imitate her impeccable character and philanthropic disposition.

He said the new facilities will ensure that pupils no longer need to go to the bush or arbitrarily urinate around the school premises.
Speaking to news men, the recipient, Princess Onyinyeomachukwu thanked the people of the community for the recognition and hinted that she was moved to embark on the project when she discovered that pupil in the community school still practice open defecation hence the need curb open defecation which is one of the MDGs goal and to ensure that students remain in school throughout school period, without having any need to return home to use the toilets which on many occasions, they don’t come back to school.

On the significance of the chieftaincy title, HRH Eze Geoffrey Anika (KSC) maintained that the ancient culture of Atta ancient Kingdom authorizes a special honour on persons who distinguish themselves in service to the community and today, Princess Onyinyeomachukwu has distinguished herself hence the coronation as the ‘Ada-Ugo Ndi Atta’,.
“It is our way of expressing our heartfelt gratitude and encouraging others to emulate such community development strides”.
The epoch event attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Ambassador and Head of Diplomatic Mission to the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Nigeria, Ambassador (Dr.) Duru Hezekiah, Speaker of Pan African Youth Parliament; Ambassador Sixtus Obinna Nwoke, traditional rulers, religious leaders amongst others.
